RAID 0 is verry cool and verry speedy , BUT !!! max data capacity is 1 Tb (2nd drive is just a copy of first one) and when one disk is broken you loose ALL!! data.
For the rest its an awsome rig *DROOLING*

Nice Rig Toga!! It's about time you got something good rollin over there :p.

My only complaint is..................AMD ? Evil or Very Mad

Outside of that, very nice.

Recommendations:
Consider picking up a couple SSD's.
Personally I wouldnt stripe 1TB drives together, but thats just my personal opinion Razz.

Also, seeing as how JP brought up the main concern with RAID 0, my recommendations would be to either unstripe the drives, or pick up another set of identical drives (as far as storage space goes) and combine your RAID setup to either RAID 0+1, or RAID 1+0. This will prevent data loss in the event of a HDD failure.

RAID is a wonderful thing, but without it being set up correctly, or constant back ups, data loss is a very high risk. All of the people that I know that have experienced RAID failures have experienced them due to sudden power outages. As such, I would recommend a decent size UPS that will give you enough time to shut down your pc. Smile

I don't like intel. I've always favored AMD. After I installed everything, I cloned the drives so i'm good to go in case of a failure so i'm hoping I get 7 to 8 years out of this CPU.
