3- Go in your AA285 folder and find " ...system/ArmyOps.ini " file.

- Make a backup (copy) of that file
- Open the file (double click)
- Find:

[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
;RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice

- Change it for:

[Engine.Engine]
;RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice
;RenderDevice=Engine.NullRenderDevice

(put semicolon at the beginning of first line, delete it at second line)

- Save file.

Restart your computer and try to start game.

If still poblem then add step 4

4- Still in ArmyOps.ini file, find section [WinDrv.WindowsClient]

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=1024
WindowedViewportY=768
FullscreenViewportX=1024 <== Change it for your screen specification (ex: 1680, native spec.)
FullscreenViewportY=768 <== Change it for your screen specification (ex: 1050, native spec.)
MenuViewportX=1024
MenuViewportY=768
Brightness=0.940000
Contrast=0.800000

That's the way Blannick fixed the problem for W10 on his computer.
